A world of inspiration in 6 acres...

ABOUT US
Bridgemere Show Gardens are set in 6 acres and is home to 13 stunning individual gardens, seven of which are Gold and Silver Medal award-winning gardens from the RHS Chelsea, Hampton Court and Tatton Flower Shows. Also included is the garden where the 1993-97 TV series ‘A Gardeners Diary’ was filmed and a garden which won the Supreme Award at the 1986 National Garden Festival in Stoke-on-Trent.
More recently, Blue Diamond designed the ‘Down Memory Lane’ dementia garden, winning Silver Gilt at RHS Hampton 2021 and the ‘Forge Garden’, winning a Silver Medal and best Artisan Garden at RHS Chelsea 2021. These two new show gardens join our growing collection of award-winners at Bridgemere.
Bridgemere Show Gardens are composed of thirteen separate gardens, including a Cottage Garden, a Victorian Topiary Garden, a Woodland Walk, a Pond and Waterfall Garden, and a Fryers Rose Garden and many more.
The garden has a collection of 9 nationally and county important Champion trees, including Cercidiphyllum, japonicum Pendulum, commonly known as the Candy Floss tree, because of its fragrance, as well as over 120 rhododendrons, including the stunning variety Christmas Cheer. A significant collection of spectacular magnolias, including Iolanthe and Manchu Fan. It is a colourful garden packed with formal bedding displays and informal herbaceous borders, which includes stunning varieties of paeonias such as Nancy Nora and a wonderful collection of Iris.
The gardens blend formal and informal planting to great effect and there is something to admire every season.

THE GARDENS
Bridgemere Show Gardens can be enjoyed all year round.
In spring the gardens are a mass of colour blossoming with crocus, snowdrops, daffodils and tulips, and the borders packed tightly with spectacular colour from the rhododendrons and azaleas. In summer herbaceous perennials such as iris, peonies and delphinium delight and the formal beds are brimming with colour from the dahlias. In the autumn the colours of the maples are simply glorious and in the winter how about a frosty walk to admire the topiary of our Tatton Garden and the scented fragrance of the daphnes and witch hazels.
