A great day out!

Established in 1962, 60 years ago, by John Ravenscroft, Bridgemere Nursery has grown from 6 acres to over 40 acers (the size of 20 football pitches). Roses were the first crop and it was known as the Bridgemere Rose and Shrub Nursery.
Today the nursery forms part of Blue Diamond’s group of production nurseries growing plants for, not only Bridgemere Garden Centre but for now over 50 plant areas which form the Blue Diamond Group of Garden Centres.
The Nurseries include Bridgemere in Cheshire, Worfield Nursery near Bridgenorth and three sites in Worcestershire; Offenham, Badsey and Broom.
The nurseries grow 11 million plants annually, over 4,000 varieties and form one of the largest group of production nurseries in the UK.
When shopping at Blue Diamond Garden Centres you can be certain that many of the plants, not only are British grown but are grown by the Blue Diamond nurseries, whether it’s Shrubs, Perennials, Bedding, Vegetables, herb plants and many more.
….and our compost is peat free and our pots are fully recyclable!
"We are growers, gardeners and horticulturists. We don’t just buy and sell plants, we grow plants. We are hands on and deeply invested in providing the right care for our plants so they reach our customers in perfect condition. Our garden centres are built on strong horticultural foundations”
Jim Teague - Head of Blue Diamond Nurseries
